FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.

FSC’s unique role is to bring together people, organizations and businesses of the Global South and North to develop consensus-based solutions that promote responsible stewardship of the world’s forests.

The American Lumber Standard Committee Incorporated (ALSC), is a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Maryland.
 The ALS system also provides the basis for acceptance of lumber and design values for lumber by the building codes throughout the United States.

Timber Products Inspection, Inc. (TPI)
is an independent, third party wood products inspection, testing, and consulting company with field representation throughout the entire United States. Since 1969, our goal has been to provide professional forest products inspection services to all of our customers.

The West Coast Lumber Inspection Bureau is currently one of only seven organizations in  the United States accredited by the American Lumber Standard Committee to write and promulgate lumber grading rules, and provide grade inspection and supervision services.
