Our story goes back to the early days of the mill, when Wayne—the founder—built a business rooted in hard work, steady craftsmanship, and treating people right. His kids grew up in the yard, learning the trade by being part of it. They stacked boards, swept floors, and watched the mill become an extension of their family.
One of those kids was Darby. She wasn’t on the production side; she was an artist. A graphic designer with a sharp eye and a steady hand. She created the logo that represented OCFP for decades—clean lines, simple structure, and a sense of balance that matched the way the family approached their work.
Today’s updated logo stays true to the one Darby designed. We expanded on her foundation, but the heart of her work still holds. It’s a daily reminder of where we came from, who shaped us, and why we carry our standards forward with care.
